The Yellow MountainThis eradication campaign belongs to the project of micro marine reserve carried out by the confederation “Ecologistas in Acción”. To know more about the project presented to the authorities, you can pdf download the document in Spanish here.   5.84 Mb

The idea is to declare the Yellow Mountain bay as a « ZONA DE ACONDICIONAMIENTO MARINO », which will prohibit fishing and fish feeding inside its limits.

Some points of anchorage are foreseen to limit the dive boat impact on the underwater realm and a maximum number of diver will be imposed per day and per year.

Once the decree will be voted, we all will be able to benefit from a unique dive site in Tenerife. A project without precedent, which will be used as a basis of work to establish a network of micro marine reserve on other dive sites around Tenerife.
